General park related questions

How near to the, nearest village, shops and restaurants is the park?

We have a café on-site (please see café page on this website), the park is situated 1.5 miles from the village of Doddington, (it can be walked to by public footpath), which has two pubs (of which one is dog friendly), two convenience shops, a post office and a fish & chip shop. March is the nearest town, which is 6 miles away, and has major supermarkets, pubs and restaurants.

Are dogs welcome?

Of course, a maximum of 4 dogs on a touring pitch and maximum of 2 dogs in a lodge and 1 dog in a glamping pod. We have an excellent "dog off the lead area" too. Unfortunately we don't allow XL Bully type dogs, (Dogs that need an exemption certificate).

Is the park open all year around?

No, the touring and glamping closes in December, January & February. The Lodges are open all year round and so is the fishing, except for Christmas Day.

Can we have our grandchildren come and visit us?

No, sorry we are an adult only park, we only allow children around the lakes if they are fishing and accompanied by an adult.

Is there a bus service nearby?

Yes, we have 3 buses a day (No 56) pass the entrance to the site, these buses go to Doddington, March, March train Station, Tesco’s & Wisbech. There are connecting services from Doddington, but there can be a bit of a wait or walk/drive to Doddington for the departure times.

It does depend quite a lot on which pitch you are on, where the services come out of your unit, and the direction you park your unit in (e.g tow bar in first or reverse in), but worst case scenario, you may need up to 14 meters of waste, a lot less in many cases. We do sell extra pipe and joiners in the reception.

Do you allow RV’s and 5th Wheelers?
