We’re proud members of the Caravan and Motorhome Club, Europe’s biggest touring community to support caravan and motorhome owners across 3,000 locations in the UK and Europe.
However, if you’re new to the community, or looking to get into camping and caravanning for the first time, how do you know if it’s really worth joining?
The Caravan and Motorhome club is dedicated to supporting and promoting the use of caravans, motorhomes, campervans, and other similar recreational vehicles and activities. The club was founded in 1907 and provides members with a range of benefits and services which includes:
The Caravan and Motorhome Club is known for fostering a community of enthusiasts, providing a supportive platform for people who enjoy travel and the outdoors with their caravans and motorhomes.
The club offers access to a wide range of high-quality campsites across the UK and Europe, such as our 5-star caravan park and campsite set in the scenic fenlands. Members of the club have access to thousands of club-owned and privately-owned partner sites.
What’s special about the Caravan and Motorhome Club is access to ‘Certified Locations’, which are privately-owned sites with 5 pitches or less. There are around 2,000 Certified Locations around the UK, and these are only available to club members. If you are looking for a specific camping experience, then the club can help you find this easily.
Members can enjoy reduced prices on campsite fees and exclusive discounts on travel, insurance, and other related services. Club membership also offers discounts at various retailers, including camping and outdoor gear suppliers.
Caravan and Motorhome Club sites are best known for maintaining extremely high standards, with clean facilities, well-maintained pitches, and secure environments, so as a club member, you know the sites you visit are safe, secure, and some of the best around.
At our adults-only site, we offer well-kept pitches, suitable for caravans, motorhome, camping, and secure storage facilities for your caravans. With us, you can take advantage of more than 70 pitches around our campsite, many of which are fully serviced, hard standing, and come with your own fishing swim to use and enjoy a carp-fishing holiday.
The Caravan and Motorhome Club offers its members a range of support services, including insurance options, vehicle breakdown cover, and technical advice for motorhome and caravan owners. This access to expert advice through the club’s website, forums and guides can be invaluable, especially if you are new to the community.
And speaking of community, the club offers a strong community feel with members who all share similar interests. This can make it easy to meet and make friends with other caravan and motorhome owners, through club events, rallies, and social events.
Each year, the Caravan and Motorhome Club holds a “National Rally” over the Spring Bank Holiday at the end of May. This usually takes place in the grounds of a stately home, and can attract up to 10,000 caravanners at a time.
If you frequently use your caravan or motorhome, especially across the UK and Europe, the club’s network of sites, discounts and support services can really quickly make a return on your investment. For those who only travel a few times a year, the cost might outweigh the benefits, especially if you are content with non-member sites.
But that’s fine with us - you can stay on our site whether you’re a member or not! Book online today to secure your preferred pitch for your relaxing stay in the Cambridgeshire countryside. Our site is also incredibly dog-friendly, and we have shared a guide on a variety of dog-friendly walks around Cambridgeshire for you to cover during your stay.
Becoming a Caravan and Motorhome Club member is easy - simply go on their website and click “Join Now”. Membership via annual direct debit is £63 per year with no joining fee, or £73 via credit or debit card for a year with a £10 joining fee. If you need any support joining, you can get in touch via telephone by calling on 01342 318813.
